The AGM which was due to take place on 2nd May 2020 has been postponed until further notice.
This is directly due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and the social distancing requirements announced by
the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison.
The Prime Minister also reiterated the continuation of the lock down, which would be until mid-June, and, the possibility of continuing restrictions for 6 months.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Fair Trading has advised that organisations are able to postpone their AGM. As a result of this advice, the Annual General Meeting scheduled for 2nd May 2020 has been postponed. The current Management Committee will retain their positions until it is safe to hold the meeting.
Once the ban has been lifted, the 14-day notification will be given to convene the postponed AGM. At this stage, there is consideration of the AGM to be held with the proposed General Meeting on 4th July 2020.
