FamilySearch Films

Take advantage of our agreement with FamilySearch and order parish register films and back up your research with primary records.

PATRON/MEMBER DIRECT ORDERING FROM HOME

  • Patron registration at http://film.familysearch.org should present no
    difficulties.

  • Training is freely accessible in the help section of

    http://film.familysearch.org.

  • You can go directly to the help documents here

    http://film.familysearch.org/help.

    WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CHOSE TO ORDER ONLINE

  • When you sign up to a personal account with FamilySearch at
    https://film.familysearch.org you will need to nominate the
    library/centre where you wish to view your films, scroll down the list
    and select Central Coast Family History Society as your default.

  • Your film will be sent to us for you to read at 8 Russell Drysdale
    Street, East Gosford.

  • As the nominated Affiliated Centre we will be able to track your film orders on a daily basis.
  • You will be notified either by email or by telephone when your film
    arrives whichever method you prefer.

  • All films will be hired for 60 days and returned by us as usual.
  • You can join FamilySearch from home and order your films or you can still order your  films from the Centre in the normal way if you prefer not to use your credit card online.

  • Cost : $7.75 per film
    And so 2010 sees us moving on once again deeper into the 21st
    Century with the new challenges that come with it.

  • For members who would prefer not to use their credit card online,
    we will continue to offer an ordering service for you.
    You can pay be Eftpos or Credit Card in person.

  • If your surname begins with A-K then your films will be found in the
    Top drawer

  • If your surname begins with L-Z then your films will be found in the
    Middle drawer
