Beginners Basics with Margaret Ertner

The first Beginners Basics with Margaret was well represented and much interest has been shown in a further course later this year.

The first twenty students have a very clear indication on how to find their way around the Societies massive collection.

When the dates have been set for the next course we will post the information here and also advise members via the society mailing list.

Speakers

2nd June: Greg de Moore, Tom Wills.
Dr de Moore is a psychiatrist at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals and a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.

His biography Tom Wills: His Spectacular Rise and Tragic Fall was inspired by uncovering an old psychiatric record.

Dr de Moore recently made headlines by revealing that psychiatric records from the 1960s to the 1990s are being destroyed in NSW
