Meetings

MEETINGS

Members Meetings are held at the Gosford City Lions’ Community Hall (at the rear of our Research Centre – 8 Russell Drysdale Street, East Gosford) on the first Saturday of the month from February through to December.


Doors open at 12 noon. The meeting begins at 1pm sharp with the general business meeting followed by a guest speaker.


Come early and browse the Bookstall and Nic Nac table. The latest exchange journals are available for perusal and don’t forget the Information Wall provided by Marlene at every meeting – latest websites and information – bring a pen and paper to make notes!

Speakers

2nd June: Greg de Moore, Tom Wills.
Dr de Moore is a psychiatrist at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals and a clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.

His biography Tom Wills: His Spectacular Rise and Tragic Fall was inspired by uncovering an old psychiatric record.

Dr de Moore recently made headlines by revealing that psychiatric records from the 1960s to the 1990s are being destroyed in NSW
